Ab Bench


Level: Intermediate
Regression: Incline bench knee raises
Progression: Leg raises on pull-up bar

Lay on the incline abs bench in supine position. Grasp the bar in an overhand-grip. Keep legs straight and feet together. Raise your legs and squeeze your abdominals.

How to do:

  1. Inhale and lift your legs until a 90° angle with your torso;
  2. Exhale at the end of the motion;
  3. Lower your legs to the starting position.


Keep your abdominal muscles contracted during the exercise.
This exercise should be done under control and without swinging notion in your legs or torso.
