Battle Snakes


Level: Intermediate
Regression: Battle Snakes with lighter resistance bands
Progression: Increase band resistance, perform more dynamic movements

Stand beneath the suspension rig, feet hip-width apart. Hold TRX bands with an overhand grip, lean back at a 45-degree angle. Set the bands high up and lengthen or shorten straps for intensity. Make sure that your arms are fully extended. Engage core and back muscles. Inhale, then exhale, pulling body upwards.

How to do:

1. Hold for two seconds at the top, inhale;

2. Exhale to return to the starting position. Repeat.


For the easier TRX warm up exercises, the lower you secure the bands the harder it will be.
